People have been eating Carrots­čąĽ for over 5,000 years. The vegetable originated in the Middle East and Afghanistan and was initially available only in purple and yellow colours. The familiar orange & red carrots were developed only later, in the 1600s.

Nowadays black and white carrots also exist.

Orange carrots get their bright color from beta carotene, an antioxidant that your body converts into vitamin A.

They are also a good source of, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium, antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals. 

Now we know that Bugs Bunny was upto something when he continued to eat this super-vegetable.
